About the Founder

Built on lived experience, scientific training, and frontline care.

Access Mobility Solutions is led by Javeria Ahmed — McMaster Life Sciences honours graduate, AODA-certified, and a healthcare professional who built this company after solving the same problem for her own family.

Healthcare & Patient Care Experience

Javeria has worked the front lines of healthcare with vulnerable populations. As a Pharmacy Assistant at Healthmax Pharmacy in Hamilton, she manages medication inventory, processes prescriptions, and communicates daily with patients and caregivers about their care. As a hospital volunteer at St. Joseph's Healthcare Hamilton, she supports hemodialysis patients — including safe wheelchair transfers and coordination with DARTS drivers — under strict infection prevention protocols.

Why This Business — A Personal Story

Access Mobility Solutions started with a problem Javeria solved twice for her own family. After sourcing, purchasing, and coordinating ramp installations for both a relative and a neighbour, she saw firsthand how confusing, slow, and impersonal the process was. The market needed a provider who could combine clinical empathy, technical knowledge, and the speed families actually require during a crisis.

Operational Foundation

Javeria's involvement in her family's shed installation business gave her hands-on operational skills — scheduling installs, coordinating timelines, managing customer communication, and handling small-business invoicing. Combined with her science training and crisis-response experience as a trained Kids Help Phone responder, she brings calm, structured problem-solving to every client interaction.

Leadership & Community

As VP Marketer for WUSC at McMaster (2024–2025), Javeria led promotional content for fundraisers supporting refugee students with housing, employment, and integration. As VP Researcher for Healthy Smiles Club, she translated complex research into accessible public-facing content — a skill she now uses to educate clients, caregivers, and healthcare partners about accessibility solutions.

"Javeria's combination of Life Science education, frontline patient care, AODA certification, and personal drive uniquely qualifies her to build Access Mobility Solutions into a trusted provider across Stoney Creek, Hamilton, and the surrounding region."
